Tools and Techniques for Efficiently Running a Software Company or Managing a Software Team
Managing a software team or company can be tricky and one of the things we often get asked about is how we do this efficiently. During this session ArchitectNow President Kevin Grossnicklaus will discuss the tools, technologies, and techniques we use to keep our development teams working efficiently and to communicate and collaborate with our customers. During this session we will discuss our DevOps tooling regarding bug tracking, source control, automated builds, and client specific staging/development environments. We will also discuss communication and collaboration platforms between our team members and our customers. We outsource our email hosting, our telephone systems, and numerous other mission critical applications such as time entry and Cloud-backup. We will even share information on a number of tools you may not know existed for things like prototyping, storyboarding, and cross-browser testing.
