As many organizations have moved away from waterfall into more agile-based processes requirements (both business and functional) tend to get shoved to the curb. In this session we will explore how business and functional requirements can still be valuable in an agile-based process and how they can be written and perpetuated throughout the project work. We will also look at the challenges many projects encounter when requirements aren’t considered. We will target three areas: 1. What are requirements and how are they important? 2. How do I get requirements into an agile-based project? 3. What tools are out there to manage my requirements in an agile-development path? This session is targeted toward project managers, product owners, developers, business analysts and quality assurance testers (so really anyone in the development cycle).
